The Bear Mountain Golf Course is nestled in the rolling countryside in Victoria, BC, surrounded by upscale homes and condominiums. Developers of the Jack Nicklaus-designed facility accented the beautiful views with several innovations that stressed sustainability.
One such feature was concrete cart paths, which use Lafarge Type 10 Cement mixed with fly ash. Not only will the concrete paths last longer, but the fly ash is recycled material that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
