Lafarge's aggregates were used as the base material for this sports field in British Columbia.
Details:
This artificial turf sports field surface in New Westminster, BC, was reconstructed to meet the design consultant’s strict requirements. Lafarge’s Pitt River Quarry supplied the base material, which is tight-graded permeable aggregate, specifically sized for maximum compaction, percolation and long-term durability. The result is a field that will allow for increased usage year-round and significantly reduced maintenance costs.
