DuraTintTM with "Clear" Binder Chosen by Calgary Parks
In order to keep the pristine condition of Nose Hill Park while improving its wheelchair accessibility, Lafarge suggested the use of DuraTint™ with a "clear" binder. Clear asphalt has all of the physical properties of conventional asphalt but with a "clear" color similar to wet gravel.
Crown Street Construction
Lafarge's infrastructure services were used to help change Vancouver's Crown Street into the city's first environmentally sustainable roadway, protecting wild salmon in a nearby stream.
Erie Colorado Street Project
It takes teamwork to coordinate the simultaneous installation of 18,000 tons of hot bituminous paving material, 5,000 tons of aggregates, 4,000 yards of concrete, plus scores of related items.
