Projects
Projects using Concrete
Bridge over Fish Creek
Lafarge's UltraHorizonal and Agilia products were used to meet the aesthetic and environmental requirements of this bridge project.
US Federal Reserve Bank Vault
The bank's vault is six stories high and approximately 150 ft long x 60 ft wide. The floors and walls are heavily reinforced and are 24 in thick. Agilia® concrete was chosen for this job to handle the shrinkage limit and heat of hydration due to the large mass of the walls.
Agilia Lends Heritage Charm to a Modern Renovation
Lafarge was asked to suggest a product that could be poured by hand, leave no voids between the forms and the I-beams and require no vibration. An important consideration for this project was that the Agilia had the capability of flowing into the subtle nuances of wood grain.

Martel Tree
Constructed entirely of Ductal, this 8.5 m (30 foot) work of art is truly an achievement. The outstanding qualities of Ductal allowed for the complex fixation of leaves to the trunk - with some pieces as thin as 6 cm (2 ½ in).
